Do you attend a weekly worship service? How about a Bible study? If you do, you know how faith-affirming hearing and studying God’s love letter to the fallible human race can be.
This is the gift Forever Forgiven Prison ministries aims to bring to our incarcerated brothers and sisters through in-prison group Bible studies and one-on-one mentorship. Jesus came to minister to sinners. We are here to follow in his steps.
Turning Lives Around
Imagine that you have never heard the Good News of Jesus’ love. Imagine you have never held a Bible. Imagine that you are locked away from home and family, locked in darkness, locked, not only in jail but also in the prison of your own soul. That is the experience of many inmates right here in the United States.
We rejoice daily in the truth that God can set even the most trapped mind free and soften even the hardest heart. In Christ, all things can become new: “18 Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. 19 Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” (Is. 43:18-19)
Our God is life changing!
Forever Forgiven currently offers weekly Bible studies in five prisons, but we are growing and expanding as rapidly as working within the prison system allows. It is our hope and prayer to bring these Bible studies, along with our one-on-one mentoring, guidance, and support ministries, to every prison in Pennsylvania and all over the United States, to help as many inmates as possible find salvation and grow in their Christian faith.
